Barovier & Toso is one of the world's oldest family businesses and glass companies, dating back to 1295. The company was founded in Murano, Italy, as Barovier and became Barovier & Toso in 1942 after merging with Ferro Toso, another Murano glassmaking company. Barovier & Toso is known for its Venetian glass and chandeliers and is considered a master of lighting design.

Your visit includes a tour of the oldest Venitian Crystal manufacturing facility and Barovier & Toso’s art gallery with their one-of-a-kind creations.

You’ll spend the day viewing Murano and Venice through the eyes of local artisans.

This one-of-a-kind stop on your tour includes a literal ‘enlightening’ tour of Antonlini, a stone-cutting facility where claddings, floors, and kitchen worktops come to life. These creations can be illuminated, allowing translucent stones like onyx, marble, quartzite, gemstones, and select granites to shine. Underlighting and backlighting these materials reveals the stunning veining, vibrant colors and intricate layers, transforming the stone into a mesmerizing work of art that captivates the eye.

Follow along to discover how the manufacturer’s expertise elevates every project. They embrace custom requests during the initial study phase, nurture the designers' visions, and provide invaluable support with graphic renderings, technical drawings, and cutting lists. Ultimately, the designer and client have the unique opportunity to personally inspect the work before it embarks on its journey to its final destination.

Immersed in the lighting center of Milan, you’ll visit the blossoming designs of Tooy through the eyes of the founders, Valeria Giacomazzi and Valerio Tidei, a husband-and-wife team. TOOY pursues the perfect balance between aesthetics, value, and functionality. It does so uniquely, with a fresh look, identifying the most interesting global trends and translating them into the famous "Made in Italy" way.

Time for a change of scenery in Prague, a city steeped in history and known for its medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque architecture. The historic center of Prague, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a living testament to the city's storied past. Adding to the city's allure are notable landmarks, such as the Prague Astronomical Clock, which dates back to 1410, and the giant modern-day bust of the famous Czech writer Franz Kafka, made of 42 rotating tiers that move throughout the day. There is something to see or experience in every nook and cranny of Prague.

Find inspiration at Bomma's factory and headquarters just outside Prague to view the production of their Bohemian designs and artisan glass. Their craftsmen bring thousands of years of glassmaking into the present by making sublime glass and exceptional light creations. They design and produce site-specific glass lighting installations and artisanal glass for architecture.

Cubist Diamond House

Prague, Czech Republic

The Cubist Diamond House in downtown Prague conceals the Bomma Atelier – a newly created hub for meetings of both professionals and aficionados with a passion for design, for the first time showcasing all Bomma lighting collections in one space. This unique urban apartment combines original custom-built functionalist furniture with products that carry world-renowned leading brands of contemporary interior design, opening a dialog regarding the possibilities of this industry.
